Virgin Australia International Lounge Access
Changes to Virgin Australia International Lounge Access
Changes to Virgin Australia International Lounge Access – Virgin Australia wishes to advise Trade partners that effective 1 November 2016, Virgin Australia will be updating its international lounge offering for eligible guests travelling internationally in Business Class, ‘The Business’ cabin, and for Velocity Platinum and Gold Frequent Flyers. After an extensive review, Virgin Australia has revamped its network of international lounge service providers at the following ports:
Brisbane International
Melbourne International
Sydney International
These changes will only affect Virgin Australia-operated flights from Australia to Denpasar, Los Angeles and Pacific Island destinations, with all other lounge offerings to remain the same (where available) for codeshare flights sold under VA code and operated by Air New Zealand, Etihad Airways and Singapore Airlines.
On Virgin Australia-operated services to New Zealand, guests travelling in Business Class, Velocity Gold and Platinum Frequent Flyers and Virgin Australia Lounge members will all still have access to the Air New Zealand International lounges at Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney international airports.
The lounge our guests will be able to access will be dependent upon on their destination. The Virgin Australia website has been updated to reflect the new lounge offering that is available and our Airport Guest Services team members will also be on hand to assist guests ensuring that they enter the correct lounge.
