Virgin Australia Inflight Entertainment

Air New Zealand wishes to advise that from 01 August 2016, customers who have purchased the Works travelling on NZ7000 series flights operated by alliance partner Virgin Australia will no longer receive an entertainment tablet onboard. Customers can however enjoy free access to the Virgin Australia Inflight Entertainment app via their own portable device while onboard.

The app provides access to hundreds of hours of movies, TV shows and music and is currently available on Wi-Fi enabled Apple iPad®, iPhone® and iPod Touch® devices; Android™ phones and tablets.

To access the Virgin Australia Inflight Entertainment app, customers simply need to:

• Download the free Virgin Australia Entertainment app prior to departure
• Fully charge their device and bring headphones on the flight

Air New Zealand recommends updating customer itineraries to include this information.

Virgin Australia will continue to provide entertainment tablets and headphones to customers travelling in Business class.
