South Africa Visas

SOUTH AFRICAN VISITORS TO NEW ZEALAND NOW REQUIRE A VISITOR VISA
All South African visitors to New Zealand now require Visitor Visas. This rule has been introduced since 21 November 2016 to replace the previous one where visitors were granted visas on arrival.
Immigration New Zealand recommends that applicants apply for a Visitor Visa about six weeks in advance of their intended travel dates.
There are two ways that you can apply for a Visitor Visa to New Zealand. You can apply online for a Visitor Visa application by visiting  www.immigration.govt.nz.
You can submit a paper-based application for a Visitor Visa.
The forms and guides can be downloaded via the website at www.immigration.govt.nz/forms.
You must then submit the application to Visa Application Centre in Pretoria.
The address is:  New Zealand Visa Application Centre, 1st Floor , Cherry Lane Office Park,
114 Fehrsen Street, Nieuw Muckleneuk, Pretoria
You can contact the Visa Application Centre to discuss requirements by phoning +27 12 346 0335.  Alternatively, you can email them on info.nzza@vfshelpline.com.
The website for the Visa Application Centre is www.vfsglobal.com/newzealand/southafrica, Immigration New Zealand’s website is www.immigration.govt.nz.
