Originally conceived as a Beach Club, John realised early on that the project needed more than just a bar, restaurant and great beach to survive. A decision was taken to add accommodation and become a fully fledged hotel targeting the upper end niche market that would welcome a holiday in a tranquil, children free environment. The property is exclusively 18 years and over, for ultimate peace & satisfaction!

The Muri Beach Club Hotel adults only retreat was then born. Funded in the main, until nearing completion, from the Scott family’s poultry farming pursuits it became a subject of some light banter to ask how many eggs were needed to build a hotel? It was not just eggs however, but also bacon and ham from the family processing plant, but the answer is – a lot!

The Scott family is now therefore bringing to life, just for you, this ‘labour of love’!
